FOPNC59C - - About Us

Greater Cumberland Area Lodge #59 opened in 1990. Our organization has supported the community in sponsoring and assisting with programs such as Shop with a Cop, K-Mart's Race Against Drug, handing out Halloween candy at Cross Creek Mall, and providing Dinner Baskets for those in need during Thanksgiving and Christmas. We also sponsor cleanup on a section of Ramsey Street in the area of Methodist College. Our membership includes Fayetteville City Police, Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, Hoke County Sheriff's Office, Hope Mills Police Department, Spring Lake Police Department, NC Highway Patrol, Fort Bragg Military Police, Pope Air Force Security Police......... We meet the first Monday of each month at 310 Green St, (Door off the Back Parking Lot) at 7 PM...(See you there?), come on out and see what's happening this month.

Membership Catagories

ACTIVE

The Active Membership of Lodge #81 is composed of full-time sworn law enforcement officers within the State of North Carolina.  Municipal, County, State and Federal Officers are all eligible. 

AFFILIATE

The Affiliate Membership is composed of part-time and/or law enforcement support personnel.

RETIRED

All retired officers are encouraged to apply for membership in the FOP.  Member Officers who retire due to length of service or disability may retain their membership in the FOP with full benefits. 

ASSOCIATES

These members are non-law enforcement citizens of the community who support law enforcement and purposes of the FOP.  These individuals receive the State Lodge magazine and newsletter, however, they are not granted the right to vote or hold office.
