Holiday Card

Since we canceled the Ball this year it was voted to have a Holiday Party.  We will meet at Beef O’Bradys on Hay Street. Membership voted we spend $600 for wings, beer and holiday cheer. You and your spouse/partner are invited to join us Sunday, December 20^th at 2:00 till it’s gone.

As an organization of law enforcement that takes care of law enforcement we all know the rigors of the Holiday Season.  Step back from the job and ensure you spend some quality time with your love ones.  We wish all a Happy Stress Free Holiday Season….

Did you know the word "Holiday" is a contraction of holy and day? They originally represented special religious days, but have evolved generally to mean any special day of rest.

The Wiki entry for holiday suggests: Many Canadians will use the terms vacation and holiday interchangeably when referring to a trip away from home or time off work. In Australia the term can refer to a vacation or gazetted public holiday, but not to a day of commemoration such as Mothers' Day or Halloween.
